The Compagnie les Vagabonds offers us a sensitive and original Little Prince. Every day at 10:15 am at the Théâtre des Brunes.

Kiko – Yes, I have a bowl with the Little Prince.
Just Focus : And you know the story?
Kiko – …No
Just Focus : So we'll meet again after the show and you tell me what you thought, ok?
Not easy to stage this story that is no longer to be discovered except when, like Kiko, we are 4 and a half years old. Benjamin Bouzy and Guillaume Reitz, with their young company "Les Vagabonds", nevertheless masterfully succeed in staging this masterpiece by Saint Exupéry.
The scenes follow one another in an always sustained rhythm without ever going beyond what is necessary to let the emotion settle and grow until the denouement. The costumes have the measured insolence of creativity and originality while respecting the representation we have of those of the characters in the tale.
In really ingenious, judicious and modular decors evolve an aviator both good-natured and concerned as adults are too often, as well as a Little Prince all in delicacy and tenderness. He captivates us with the subtlety of his moving and captivating playing.
Two actors, for several characters on stage, supported by two puppets of string and tinplate. More expressive than if they were alive, they make us live various situations such as the heat of the desert, loneliness, friendship, responsibility, vanity (embodied by a precious rose with a British accent! ), injustice, the timeless portrait of society, the fragility of human relationships, the tenderness of love…
"And I'm going to sow flower seeds in my garden and we'll see what happens."
In short, the naivety of childhood and the misunderstanding of these strange grown-ups are transmitted to us with tact and sensitivity. Immersed in this dreamlike world that we would like so much to be able to find, we lived 55 minutes of happiness.

Just Focus – Which part did you like the most?
Kiko – EVERYTHING! I preferred everything. It's really good, although at first I was a little afraid of the fox. But he is not evil because he is AP-PRI-VOI-SÉ!
A must see!And thanks again to this young Kiko, a spectator of wonder who explains single-handedly why the Festival d'Avignon and its artists exist.
