As a child, who never imagined a tiny world? By observing the grass closely, tell yourself that it is a forest. The water lily is a charming umbrella. Caress the pistil of a daisy and, surprised by its softness, thinks that it would make a comfortable bed if one could slip into it . Or look into the slit of a trunk, and wonder if fairies or little beings live there, tell ourselves that we would like to live our imaginations.
Seeing little guys playing tennis with watermelon seeds or being able to shrink ourselves. Arthur and the Minimoys, Alice in Wonderland, satiated our imaginations. But other artists offer us to enlist in several other miniature worlds during their exhibition: Small is Beautiful.
This exhibition takes place in Paris in the third arrondissement at 116 rue de Turenne. The tour lasts about an hour, and students have discounts.
On more than 900m2 are exhibited the works of 20 artists, men and women from different countries. Their ideas are really pleasant. Each, in his ingenuity, presents something original, even if they all gather around the theme of the miniature.

Small is Beautiful exhibition: an exemplary reconstruction
They are absolutely talented. You will be amazed by the attention to detail. The reconstructions of objects and the creation of tiny men are carried out with precision to the millimeter. Objects are created and cut, for example on a pencil lead. They are diverted from their primary function and used in surprising ways. The houses of "dolls", which are ours, are like sculpted photographs as the realism and the detail of the material are impressive.
There is something fantastic and realistic about these works of art. It is a satisfying experience for adults and children. Indeed, you can find ideas for artistic creations to reproduce at home. These works are funny or cringeworthy and totally absorb us in a microscopic world. Have you all seen a ship enclosed in a bottle, but have you ever seen baby seahorses swimming in a 2cm bottle? Masterpiece of remarkable meticulousness.
It is an experience to live and see. It is a dive into the imagination of men. These works are all imbued with poetry.
