The comedy La logique des femmes is in extension at the Théâtre Les Feux de la Rampe until December 31, 2017

Women's-logicsA comedy by Antoine Beauville

Lola returns home in a pitiful state, supported by a monk. His ethanol breath and late-night cravings mask his heart aches and fear of commitment. The monk will watch and awaken this woman hidden behind her shell and her collector's pajamas. An interesting duet imagined by Antoine Beauville and directed by Carole Barbier.

Antoine Beauville is an actor, director and writer. Before La Logique des femmes, he had his first successes with his previous plays Comme tout le monde, Les femmes sont misogynes et moi de mauvais foi, La Biscotte, and more recently with Arrosage automatique, La cerise sur le gâteux!and Madame croque monsieur !. He can also be found in his one man show Le con magnifique !.

With alternating female roles: Virginie Stevenoot or Belen Lorenzo and in male roles: Dominique-Pierre Devers, Daniel-Jean Colloredo or Mehdi.

A boulevard room

It is not surprising to find this play at the Théâtre Les feux de la Rampe, a stone's throw from the Grands Boulevards, stronghold of the boulevard theatre around the eighteenth century.
There is a certain lightness, pleasant for an entertaining outing, a well-constructed and touching story, dialogues that make the assembly laugh. The play seems to have pleased the audience who applaud warmly.
We will note a small flat about the acting of the actors sometimes too supported and external and some tirades, few but vulgar, which represent for me a form of gratuitous relentlessness. The text is egalitarian in the conflictual lines but some bickering does not always have the same weight and turns into easy insults to the detriment of the woman of course.
