As we all know, Paris has the largest cultural offer in France. The capital has just over 80 theaters and allows an exceptional diversity of offer! However, it is impossible to see all the shows on the bill. So we made you a selection!
1. The crazy and unseemly story of women at the Funambule Montmartre
This show features a young woman who, through a history book bequeathed by her grandmother, decides to finally give voice to the great mutes of past centuries, women. From prehistory to the twenty-first century, it will give life to female characters, real or fictional, heterosexual or homosexual, who together between humor and commitment will witness this great forgotten history of women, their history.
2. The Dodos at the Monfort
Hand to hand, aerobatics, acrobatics, Chinese rings, absurd rites, the Dodos multiply the learning of all possibilities and play with their fears, their conflicts, with an unshakeable naivety and an insolent humor. Music is their breath. From violin to double bass to guitars, so many variations on strings, on bodies, for acrobatic movements and perilous stunts. The Dodos defend tooth and nail their dreams and share with the public, under the warm light of the marquee, a precious fight: to exist, the time of a show, as an act of resistance!
3. Panayotis Pascot in Presque au Grand Point Virgule
Right now I'm learning to say "I love you" and it's harder than expected… If this story serves as a common thread, Panayotis does not hesitate to digress and give us other intimate anecdotes. The spectator follows, with happiness, the path of his thought, and remains truly touched by the revelation of certain confidences, always tinged with humor.
4. Meanwhile, Simone Watches!at the Comédie Bastille
Four generations of women follow one another in this journey through time that stretches from the fight for abortion to medically assisted procreation. Punctuated by the interventions of a whimsical and gritty Simone who makes sure to remind us of important dates, we (re)discover this quest for equality between men and women that was made by dint of fights, desires and doubts. 60 years of feminism revisited with a lot of humor!
5. The poor bad wolf at the Essaïon Theatre
The Wolf is looking to make friends. But, how to resist hunger when his path crosses Red Riding Hood, the 7 kids and the three little pigs? What a dilemma! It is a comedy that mixes theater, puppets and shadows in a show full of humor and emotion. Now that you have a nice selection, you have no excuse! Go to the theater, they need you to overcome this crisis! Don't forget that many shows are on BilletReduc so if you have a small budget, take a look 😉 and if you are not Parisian but Norman, do not panic! We also made you a selection right here
