Here is soon the sequel to the game Super Mega Baseball, which was voted "Sports Game of the Year 2015". The release of SMB 2 is expected to take place in early 2017.
In this second part, which of course takes the basics of the first, the objective was to make the effects more realistic, give a wider choice to players to customize characters and stadium as well as allow to play online. A game available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Super Mega Baseball is a funny baseball simulation and yet subtle in some aspects. Funny because this game is not licensed, therefore, the creators were able to parody, as they pleased, the characters and stadiums. SMB is not intended to be complex. It aims to be as accessible as possible, with solid gameplay for an "enjoyable experience". Indeed, even without being a fan, or a connoisseur of the sport, the game is simple and fun and in no way take itself seriously!

The possibility, in addition to solo games, to play up to 4 players (1 vs 1 / 2 vs 1 / 2 Vs 2 / 4 Vs AI). As soon as you play as a team, there will be a constant alternation between hitting and running with each bat, which will allow everyone to participate. The gameplay is very fast and responsive. The games of 9 rounds can last 20 minutes (if we pass all the cutscenes). The commands are simple. However, it will be necessary to learn to master certain techniques (jumps, powerful strikes …). There is an evolutionary system. That is, depending on the successful moves, elimination or catch-up during the game, points will be accumulated. They will allow you to gain levels and then be used to hire staff to train and manage your players to improve their skills. In Baseball, as in football, statistics are very valuable to evaluate the level of the characters.
Super Mega Baseball 2 which will be released in 2017, will not be so different from the first, it will especially bring its share of improvements! First of all, the graphics will be revisited for a more modern interface, a whole new look. An ever more fun visual, which will be characterized by a wider choice in the customization of stadiums, teams and characters.Then, the creators want, without taking anything away from the fantasy of the1st part, a gameplay a bit more realistic.And finally, this sequel will have a novelty: the ability to play online, in multiplayer.
