EA Play Live 2020, presented by Electronic Arts, took place tonight. A first teaser allowed us to see the first images of the game. The release date, rather unusual, was also announced by EA.
FIFA 21 : a later release
The best-selling game each year is expected to be released in a standard edition on October 9. This later than usual exit is linked to the consequences of COVID-19 on football. Indeed, the season has been disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic. All major European championships (except Ligue 1) and European Cups will end much later than usual. As a result, EA Sports, which usually releases its annual edition of its famous FIFA football simulation on the last Thursday of September, has revised its plans. In addition, those who purchase the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be able to benefit from the PS5 or Xbox Series X version, which is scheduled for release before Christmas, at no additional cost. Great news for fans of the franchise. Nevertheless, by pre-ordering the Champions Edition, you will be able to enjoy the game 3 days in advance. As for them, EA Access members will be able to play the game for 1O hours 1 week in advance.

New images… With Mbappé headlining!
Electronic Arts has presented the new 2021 edition of the FIFA saga, a game based on ultra-realism. Unique gaming sensations thanks to PlayStation 5's haptic feedback controllers, more realistic stadium atmospheres, players who put their shin guards back in place in the 89th minute or those who shout to claim the ball. These are the little novelties that video game players were able to discover at the EA Play conference. In this first trailer, several improvements are to be expected compared to the previous version. Loading times will surely be faster. Emphasis was also placed on better lighting of the game and better sound. Plus, the animations seem to be more realistic than ever. In this trailer we find the young French prodigy: Kylian Mbappé, who is about to shoot a penalty. We can imagine that the PSG player could find himself on the cover of FIFA 21. There are other muses of FIFA such as Eden Hazard or Virgil Van Djik. Finally, Electronic Arts announced that it would give more details on gameplay and game modes in August.
