Electronic Arts just announced on Twitter that its EA Play Live 2020 conference will not take place on Friday, June 12 at 1am. It will therefore take place a week later and always at night. Electronic Arts has decided to stay back so that actions related to the Black Lives Matter movement can take their place in the news. Electronic Arts announces EA Play Live 2020, which is all about connecting players around the world and bringing them together around the game franchises they love. This year, Electronic Arts' games will be presented at this digital event through a live broadcast. There will also be community content and much more. Because of the recent events in the United States following the death of George Floyd, all the major players in the video game industry are taking turns supporting the Black Lives Matter movement . Sony for its PS5 and the presentation of its games, Activision with the deployment of the new season of Modern Warfare and just about every other player in the industry with something planned this week will be there. Scheduled to be held on June 11, EA PLay Live 2020 will finally take place with a week delay, on June 18, 2020. The American giant will only have to wait a week to make its announcements.
