And it was Dr. Nathan Riggs' departure that we attended last night. The character, played by actor Martin Henderson for two seasons, was indeed entitled to his happy ending alongside his beloved Megan (Abigail Spencer) Owen's sister who disappeared in Iraq for many years.
This is a real surprise for fans since the secret was well kept during the filming and production period. This departure, confirmed by the actor himself and by the creator Shonda Rhimes, may sow doubt in the mind of Meredith Grey. Indeed, following the departure of Patrick Dempsey, Dr. Riggs had begun a love affair with the widow of Dr. Mamour.
A new chapter opens for Grey's Anatomy. Nevertheless, season 14 continues to air on ABC, every Thursday night in the United States. You can take a look at our season premiere review!
