Initially, Dying Can Wait was supposed to be released last April. But with the Covid_19 pandemic, the feature film was first postponed to October 2020. After James Bond's retirement from active service in Spectre, she assumed the title of Agent 007 in the MI6 organization. The confirmation that Lashana Lynch is the new 007 corroborates with some clues left in the trailer. Thus, James Bond will have to face an extremely powerful enemy in Dying Can Wait, but also his successor. It is difficult to know if Lashana Lynch will have this title for only one film or if the studios are thinking of giving her the lead role in future films in the franchise.
