Released since February 14, the film Black Panther already promises to be one of the biggest successes of this year 2018. The film indeed earned the highest Rotten Tomatoes score for a live-action superhero movie.
Batman and Iron Man can go get dressed! In just a few days, Black Panther's box office exceeded $240 million. Even better, the new hero got the highest score for a live-action superhero movie, namely 96%. Until now, the podium has been held by Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight (2008) and Jon Favreau's Iron Man (2008). The website Rotten Tomatoes tracks all reviews published by professionals or amateurs and makes it a consensus. With such a high score, Black Panther seems to have been unanimous with the public. The supreme prize for superhero films, however, goes to an animated film, namely The Incredibles (2004).
Time will tell if the Pixar sequel, which will be released on July 4, will be able to match the impressive score of 97%.
