April is here, so it's time for us to tell you more about the latest spring drama releases. We start with the novelties made in Japan which are numerous, spring season requires. On the program, ten dramas talking about love, action and history. Good reading!

We start with the new asadora drama (long drama of more than 150 episodes that tells the life of a heroine) produced by the NHK channel which replaces its predecessor Beppin-san. A story that follows the daily life of Mineko in the sixties, in search of his father, Minoru Yatabe disappeared. She ends up working in the restaurant he frequented to learn more.
Fans of this kind of drama should appreciate the historical side of this period and learn more about Japanese society in passing! We find in the cast, Kasumi Arimura (currently in Sangatsu no Lion) and Ikki Sawamura (Totsuzen Desu ga, Ashita Kekkon Shimasu). On the generic side, it was entrusted to singer Kuwata Keisuke (Proposal Daisakusen). Koi ga Heta demo Ikitemasu

Adaptation of the manga Koi ga Heta demo Ikitemasu by Fujiwara Akira, unpublished in France. It is co-produced by NTV and YTV. Chigasaki Misa develops games for smartphones and invests a lot in her work, leaving aside all love life. Unlike her roommate Chihiro who is not far from marriage after four years of relationship with her boyfriend. Finally… That's what she believed.
A little love story in working-girl mode tempts you? Misa thinks only about work and still no boyfriend in sight. However, life always has its share of surprises! And that's what makes us want to discover this drama! The headliners already announce something promising with Rin Takanashi (5-ji Kara 9-ji Made), Kei Tanaka (Tokyo Tarareba Girls), Kaho Tsuchimura (Beppin-san), Yasushi Fuchikami (Double Mints). The theme song will be performed by Hata Motohiro (Sumika Sumire). Between romance, work and complication you will find something to have a good time in this spring period!

Kono Yo ni Tayasui Shigoto wa Nai
この世にたやすい仕事はない
Another adaptation, that of the novel Kono Yo ni Tayasui Shigoto wa Nai by Kikuko Tsumura to become a drama; It is also not available in France. NHK is in charge of the realization of this drama. Kasumi gets a teaching job in an elementary school. But, she overexerts herself and ends up leaving him. Kasumi is looking for a new job and starts odd jobs. She then meets Masakado.
There is no real romance in sight but, the theme of job search and passion for the job are present. Here, we find in the cast, Erina Mano [Hello! Project] which will be this winter in another LIVE adaptation (Anonymous Noise). We can say that, decidedly, she really appreciates this type of scenario. She will be supported by Atsuko Asano (Retake) and Takashi Tsukamoto (Keiji 7 nin). It remains to be seen if the plot will be able to pull out of the game and not be a pale copy of dramas of the same genre, as is often the case! Noboru Tachibana's Memorandum of Youth 2

We are now talking about a jidai-geki (historical work dedicated to the medieval history of Japan) produced by the NHK channel. Noboru Tachibana lives in Edo (future Tokyo of today extending from 1600 to 1868), he is a young prison doctor. He has a strong sense of justice and is talented in jujitsu (Japanese martial art). He likes to get involved with people.
Continuation of the first season of the same name, broadcast in 2016 and which resumes, at the end of this said season. As a reminder it is an adaptation of the novel Gokui Tachibana Noboru Tebikae by Shuhei Fujisawa not translated into France. The cast is the same as the previous season: Junpei Mizobata (Heartbroken Chocolatier), Yuna Taira (ReLIFE) and Yutaro Watanabe (MARS). NHK now offers us a drama full of action and twists.Asahina Hayato works for a private security company. The client pays no attention to the advice of the bodyguards and seems to purposely put himself in danger.
There is a lot of talk about the police, but here we will talk about the profession of bodyguard protecting his clients. An interesting plot with well-chosen actors that we no longer present and that should please most of you. Asian series have been popular lately and productions continue to emerge! In the meantime we talk about the casting, Yojiro Noda [Radwimps] offers himself a second attempt at acting (after Pieta in the Toilet). We go back to the field of action and justice with another drama co-produced by Tokai TV and WOWOW.Takashi Muto is a detective full of thirst for justice. When he was young, he lost his parents and sister. The killer was a minor and was not convicted but, ended up committing suicide. A year later, he took on a special assignment from the investigation division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, which was impossible to perform.
The two channels will share the broadcast of the two seasons of the drama. The first season will air on Tokai TV and the second on WOWOW next June. It is again an adaptation of the two novels Shisso Shokogun and Yukai Shokogun by Tokuro Nukui not translated into France. It will feature two characters here Takashi Muto and Mamoru Kabugari for the next. Of course, both will be present but, with each its story, a process that reminds a little of the drama Aka no Sho. The cast includes Tetsuji Tamayama (Soshite, Dare mo Inaku Natta) and Shosuke Tanihara (Doctor Chousahan). Inami and Tamaru will be able to count on their physical strength, discernment and sense of justice to carry out their missions.
For the casting, a well-known actor in the world of drama and films, I named Shun Oguri (Daisho, Gokusen), but also Hidetoshi Nishijima (Toto Nee-Chan) and finally, Yuko Araki (also present in Million Yen Women). Suffice to say, after seeing the trailer that moves, we are conquered! All the ingredients are there to make us want to discover it and we want to see more.
