Plaid Do Matter

We no longer count the number of albums released by this English band which is more than 20 years old. Nor can we quantify the pleasure it provides with each release, nor the how many musical periods it begins. This album "The Digging Remedy" digs in any case more his search for the most purified, the most liberated, the lightest sound. Take care of your ears, it tickles.

Swans – When I return

One last one for the road. The band in its current form will give the end clap during a farewell tour, at the same time as with this double album just as heartbreaking and epic as the others. The dark side of the force, which could also rub shoulders with Nick Cave, Joy Division, Bahaus or Sonic Youth, has been able to exult for 30 years in albums that, once tamed, constitute appreciable catharsis.

Case / Lang / Veirs – "Honey and Smoke"

The meeting of 3 great North American voices ultra respected by folk and country lovers, in a single album. You have not heard them in the "Nouvelle Star", "The Voice" or in recent charts, it's normal: Neko Case, kd lang and Laura Vers are from a generation where these tele-hooks did not exist, and they would not have adhered to their ultra-commercial principle anyway. This results in a series of authentic and folk (loric) songs sung only with the heart.

The last collaboration of Grimes genius made in UK, Dizzee Rascal and DJ star Calvin Harris dates back to 2013 on the brilliant "Dance Wiv Me", at the time ranked number 1 in the charts in Britain. This new track which announces the 6th studio album of Dizzee Rascal puts us in suspense to hear again his typically British flow so unique.

Fifth Harmony feat. Fetty Wap – All in My Head (Flex)

The month of June is coming to an end, the holidays are more and more felt in the four corners of the world. The 5 girls of Fifth Harmony had the idea to release the most summery single of their album "Reflection". On the menu: reggae rhythms, and a clip where the group has fun playing the sirens of the most tempting.

Hozier – Better Love (From The Legend of Tarzan)

Our favorite Irish bluesman is back for a title and not the least. He signs the soundtrack of the film Tarzan with the magnificent Alexander Skarsgård which will be released next week on July 6. A love song that rises in power and takes to the guts. Blues and rock at will a little wild and romantic … Enough to make your mouth water and want to see the film!

Bear's Den – Auld Wives

A London duo will manage to cross the channel next weekend after Brexit to come and enlighten us with their music at the Mainsquare. Andrew Davie & Kev Jones offers us a title full of lyricism and very inspired by the 80s. Between pop and folk, this title is accompanied by a sublime and disturbing clip at the same time. Their second album, Red Earth & Pouring Rain, is scheduled for July 22nd and they will be at the Café de la Danse on October 30th.

Yellowcard – Rest In Peace

Return of the emblematic group of our high school years, Yellowcard. No real surprise in terms of their sound, but it feels good to hear from them and bring out our outfits of skaters / emo / rebel teenager!
