DGTL we had already told you about it for its winter edition held in Amsterdam on March 26th! The summer edition takes place in Barcelona and this year is not lacking! The sea, the sun and the music, what more?

August 12th and 13th are dates to remember! Book your weekend, head to Barcelona for one of the best festivals of the summer!

DGTL is a festival that, from its beginnings, has had the vocation to make a festival a moment where art and music come together. It is more than a festival since artists come to make ephemeral installations or live'act. Last year, we were treated to a giant sculpture of an indication tree with neon lights and iron, a giant bull, lights in cans above the chill area, fire-breathing performances! For the winter edition a giant iron tower was built to see the festival from above. At the end of the month, we will know the names of the artists who will have the honor of exhibiting!

The other interest of this festival is its "green" side that it has had since its beginnings. If today many festivals call themselves green and sort waste for example, the DGTL was one of the pioneers in this field! So do not be surprised if at the turn of two swings you come across cans for sorting waste.

What made DGTL successful: its line-up!

Indeed, the festival has 3 stages that each play a different style! Each space is separated by containers, which makes it possible to cut the sound between the different stages, all outdoors, and has a different atmosphere. So we have a more techno corner and therefore with a cooler and industrial scenography, a more house/deep house corner with a more worked scenography, screens and decorations, and a corner with more pointed and less known artists, which is more sober and gives a real proximity with the artist.
This year you can dance 2 nights in a row from 4 pm to 3 am.

Friday night

On Friday we will have the chance to see play a little genius who rarely passes in France, since Ben UFO is part of the programming. You will also be surprised to see Fort Romeau who is a very deep set pro. Maceo Plex will be there, and we hope he will play "Solar Detroit", one of his key titles! If you like techno you will not be left out that night because Pan-Pot will be present, Gui Borrato, Joseph Capriati and Jamie Jones will answer each other in music, Kink will make us tap our feet on his live and Surgeon will put everyone in agreement with bpm always faster and more violent. If you prefer house or deep house music, then the master of the Innervisions label will be there! Dixon returns for our greatest happiness! Mano Le Tough who also rarely passes in France will make you travel.

Saturday night

Saturday has an equally enticing line-up! Indeed, a very big surprise awaits us: Ame will be in BtoB with Rodhad, which for insiders is something exceptional! The little French Agoria will be present again for this edition, as well as Joachim Pastor and N'To. If you listen to electronic music you have not been able to miss John Talabot in the last 2 years and he is part of the party! The duo of techno killers Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann will play separately and not in B2B as often.
Women DJs are in the spotlight since Nina Kraviz has been booked and will amuse us with her big techno tracks and her small dance steps. Paula Temple the noisemaker as she describes herself is a special artist who works her music between noises and voids. Cora Novoa , a Spanish artist who is unknown in France, will be playing, so take the opportunity to check it out!

All this is only a small compared to all the artists in total! Here are the detailed line-ups per day:

In terms of gastronomy and shopping, you are in Spain! So yes the foodtrucks are exceptional and make you taste tapas as well as burgers or even watermelons and other fruit salads! Local artists and young brands also exhibit and sell their creations.

In terms of organization, it is one of the first festivals to have gone completely cashless, with the possibility of going to the cash registers and being reimbursed whenever you want!
Last year there were a few drops and the festival was so well run that we were given free rain capes!

Yes, DGTL is truly an experience that will change your vision of festivals!
