We take stock with you about Dishonored 2 and all the information we have about the game since E3 2016.

Dishonored 2 was announced last year at E3 by Raphaël Colantonio, co-creative director at Arkane studios. Since then, no more news until E3 2016 where the game was nothing less than the highlight of the Bethesda conference show. It must be said that the first opus had garnered very good reviews, both by the specialized press and by the public. What more can we expect from what's next? Let's take stock together.

First of all, we can highlight the possibility of playing two assassins. You will find Corvo, main character of the first opus but also Emily Kaldwin who was then only a child. 15 years later, she has grown up and will be able to sow death just like her protector, now also a spymaster. But hey what is the point of changing characters in a game with an FPS view? Well, it's very simple: not only will the two protagonists possess unique powers and abilities, but they will also react in totally different ways to the events around them. For example, Emily has three powers of her own: Domino, Wandering Shadow and Fascination. Corvo will be able to dispose of the powers of the first opus with however changes, such as the Blinking which is now usable for aggressive actions (not only for moving). This promises greater diversity in gameplay, but also in story. Previously, Corvo Attano was a kind of silent avenger, but will now be endowed with a voice. Thus, the player will live different adventures if he chooses to embody Corvo or Emily. Thematic missions such as The Tear or The Mechanical Manor will be an opportunity to test the many possibilities of approach and combinations of powers!

The universe of Dishonored 2 seems to have gained in size also since the first opus. At least that's what we can see if we dwell on the first trailer. We leave you with Harvey Smith, co-creative director of Arkane Studios who helps you dissect the video (everything he says is subtitled in French, enjoy it). The beginning and end of the game should take place in Dunwall, the dark industrial city of the first part, while the majority of the action will be played in Karnaca, often referred to as the "southern jewel".

As for the game, it will be available on November 11, 2016 (a holiday, and Kihaa's birthday, by the way) on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Note that the game has a Collector's Edition that was unveiled at E3 and whose content you will find here !
