We already know that season 7 of HBO's cult series, Game of Thrones, scheduled for 2017, will be shortened to seven episodes, but it will also be the penultimate one. Knowing that the adaptation has surpassed the novelistic work of George R.A. Martin, it seems even more complicated than usual to consider the rest of the plot, but the writers have already given themselves a little about their projects…

David Beniof and D.B. Weiss said, about the evolution of Cersei Lannister, that it would now be interesting to see her exist without her children, all now gone: "Who is she without her children? You will have the answer in the next season," they told the American site Deadline, adding that "she will do everything to win, because nothing holds her back."

They also emphasized the decisive role that the White Walkers could play in the coming seasons, stating that the Wall would not only be a physical structure, but that it would also be reinforced by magic, and that the challenge of this plot will be to highlight the heroism of Jon Snow :  "The question will be whether an honorable man can defeat terrible enemies." When we know what happened to Ned Stark in season 1, the potential hero of the beginning of the saga, we have something to be wary of.

We also know that the production is looking for new actors, for roles that are obviously unknown to us: a white man between 35 and 45 years old to play a very talkative role, with a familiarity with fighting techniques; a priest in his sixties with a standard accent (as heard in King's Landing); a charismatic, frank and funny young Northern Guard; a forty-year-old merchant who could appear in any landscape; and finally, a "non-white" twenty-something to play the role of a fighter.
