In two teaser videos, we learn a little more about the plot that will concern Frank in season 7 of Shameless.
After being thrown off a bridge by Kev and the rest of the gang at the end of season 6, Frank wakes up in the hospital after a 29-day coma. Usually at least one family member worries about Frank or shows a modicum of interest in him when he returns (usually Debbie or Carl) but this time, everyone doesn't care if he's alive or dead, and no one has any regrets about their end-of-season action.
When Frank finds his way home, he is fired without concessions. This is how he tries to find a "new " family and embarks on a new business: a place of welcome for the homeless (with a participation of everyone of course!)
In the official trailer of the season released at the end of August, we learn more about the other Gallaghers: Fiona recovers from the failure of her marriage and focuses on her own happiness, Lip is out of rehab and tries not to fall back into his faults, Ian has difficulty controlling his illness, Deb steals to support herself and her daughter, and Carl passed on an STD to his girlfriend!
So we expect an eventful season 7 of Shameless, as we like them! Return on October 2nd.
