Legion: FX's series about Charles Xavier's son is revealed

Legion is the new series of the FX channel that we will be able to discover in early 2017. It will focus on the son of Charles Xavier, the famous Professor X of the X-Men universe. While it was presented during the New York Comic Con, let's discover together this new series…

Legion will take us to discover the story of David Haller, the schizophrenic son of Professor Xavier, a man prone since adolescence to a mental illness. During one of his many stays in a psychiatric hospital, a strange encounter with a patient makes him realize that the voices he hears and the visions he faces could turn out to be true.

After 9 films dedicated to the X-Men saga in the cinema since the year 2000, and with 4 films in preparation by 2020, the universe of Marvel mutants continues to expand with the upcoming arrival of Legion, a series taking place in the same universe, but nevertheless totally independent.

The series will feature Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) as David Haller, Rachel Keller (Fargo) will be Syd Barrett, David's girlfriend, Jean Smart (24 ) will play the role of therapist Melanie, Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) will be Lenny Busker, a friend of David and finally Amber Midthunder (Banshee) will play Kerry Loudermilk, the daughter of a scientist.
