It was released a little over a week ago on the internet, but here is the very first teaser of the next Planet of the Apes: War of the Planet of the Apes.
In 2011, a monkey proved the value of his own and ended decades of slavery. In 2014 men failed to maintain a lasting and necessary peace. In 2017, war seems inevitable. Fox recently unveiled a short but disturbing teaser officially announcing the next installment of the new saga of the cult universe of the 60s. "War has begun", whispers Caesar who seems determined to protect his people once again from men.
Behind the camera is Matt Reeves, already present for the previous film, and best known for Cloverfield (2008). Caesar will still be played by the enigmatic Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings), and he will be accompanied by Woody Harrelson (Welcome to Zombieland, Hunger Games), Judy Greer (Antman, Chasing Tomorrow) and Steve Zahn (Dallas Buyers Club). The War of the Planet of the Apes, whose scenario was recently unveiled (see here), is scheduled for August 9, 2017.
