Jason Momoa, aka Khal Drogo in the first two seasons of Game of Thrones, and future Aquaman in the movie Justice League, will be the hero of Frontier, broadcast on the Discovery Canada channel, then on Netflix thereafter. It is a western set in the 18th century.
Netflix is certainly the most active VOD platform lately. After The Crown and the return of Gilmore Girls in November, the latest series with Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo, the leader of the Dothraki, in Game of Thrones), was bought for an international broadcast, after a first appearance on Discovery Canada on November 6.
Composed of 6 episodes, Frontier returns to the cohabitation between Europeans and Amerindians at the end of the 18th century in North America. A violent and chaotic fight for control of the prolific and dangerous fur trade. Several points of view will be followed.
