Speculative rumors are circulating on the web and announce that Warner Bros would have some names of actors in mind to play Hal Jordan in the film Green Lanter Corps.
Indeed, it is the turn of the character of Green Lantern to move from DC Comics to the screen by being assigned the main role. Green Lantern Corps, which will be released in 2020, will feature several Earth Green Lanterns, the best known of which are Hal Jordan and John Stewart. We do not yet know anything about the potential actors to play John Stewart however several candidates for Hal Jordan have stood out according to the rumor.
Among them, we find Tom Cruise, Bradley Cooper, Joel McHale, Armie Hammer, Jake Gyllenhaal, but also more surprisingly Ryan Reynolds ! The proposal of the latter is quite unexpected knowing that in 2011 he had already embodied the character of Hal Jordan in the film Green Lantern and that his performance left a little to be desired…
