The shooting of the feature film began under the direction of Ryan Coogler, at the origin of the very good Creed: The Legacy of Rocky Balboa. Chadwick Boseman will reprise his role for this solo adventure of the King of Wakanda.
In the comics, Black Panther is a powerful warrior, a wise king with a brilliant intellect. He is sometimes a member of the Avengers, he is the husband of Tornado and is king of Wakanda, a fictional African country. It is this imaginary state that possesses the reserves of Vibranium, a powerful metal highly coveted from which Captain America's shield, Ultron's armor and the Black Panther's claws are composed.
He will deal in this solo adventure with Ulysses Klaw, seen in Avengers – Age of Ultron as Andy Serkis , while the post-credits scene of Captain America – Civil War presented Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier in hibernation on the lands of Wakanda, under the protection of T'Challa.
