The Legion series is the pleasant surprise of this beginning of the year, each episode being a visual slap and realization. We can only advise you this series and obviously this episode because:
- It plunges us concretely into David's subconscious. We are no longer in David's dreams but in his head where he is stuck. An opportunity to delve even deeper into the psychology of the character.
- The very well written monologue at the beginning puts us in the bath while pushing us to think
- The realization is still brilliant, the plans are worked, beautiful, sometimes even surprising
- Photography is always of a rare quality
- The actors' performances are bluffing
- The soundtrack of this episode between jazz and pop songs is a treat
- Finally because it more or less subtly poses the possibility that David's father may not be who he thinks, opening new avenues for the series.
We can only recommend this episode and this series in general that we look forward to seeing every week. This series surpasses, in our opinion, the other Marvel and DC series by the attention paid to the realization, the image and the psychology of its characters. It is a visual and scriptwriting masterpiece!
