From the manga booth or Heroic Fantasy stand, there were this weekend, locations for all types of audience! Indeed, different stands were set up to best satisfy visitors sometimes coming from afar. Authors, Youtubers, professional players, cosplayers, publishing houses or associations were present throughout the site to present us different arts such as the artisanal making of objects from various geek cultures, enough to delight the youngest and adults!
Animations were also organized throughout the weekend to discover new arts sometimes unknown to the general public such as Jedi fighting art or "Mario Kart" remote-controlled car battles. Visitors were also able to find stands of retro and current games such as arcades, or the latest Naruto Shippuden, through the famous Crash Bash released on PS1 in 2000. For the more "adventurous", there was also the possibility of participating in the inflatable turnniquer, enough to test your reflexes!
No time to get bored in short!There was always a stand to discover during this weekend! Whether you prefer Manga, Marvel, DC or the Heroic Fantasy style, you could discover fabulous stands all as interesting as each other! Painting, drawing, 3D modeling, pixel art, and much more! Visitors could discover a wide choice of art and exhibitors unknown to them or could rediscover with great pleasure stands they had enjoyed last year!
And food you will tell us? Well, this side has not been forgotten either since visitors could discover new flavors coming directly from Japan with stands offering new products and sometimes unknown to us, French! Kit-Kat, Lemonade, confectionery, bento, … You could discover everything and for all tastes, enough to delight the greediest of us. And for those who were a little hungry during the event, it was also possible to enjoy a good bowl of ramen while enjoying a good beer or Japanese lemonade! Something to enjoy and discover new flavors like Narutomaki for example!

From the Salamander of Fairy Tail to the famous Mignon de Moi Moche et Méchant, through knights and unicorns, cosplayers came in large numbers for this new edition of the Clermont Geek Convention! Young and old came dressed up this weekend to show their passion and proudly display the cosplay that some had taken months to achieve.
Two competitions were even organized for the occasion! The individual cosplay contest on Saturday and group cosplay on Sunday. In addition, during the individual competition, visitors were able to see the participants of the France cosplay cup! Indeed, one of the stages of the France Cosplay Cup took place during the convention, judged by David Chan, Dothy Trunks and Pierre from Grim Fantasy. Something to delight cosplay fans!
A dance and singing contest has also been set up, enough to discover new talents, and admire dances straight out of our favorite animes and games! And for those who asked for even more, a cosplay stand was available to discover cosplays straight out of universes all as magical as each other! E.T, The Ninja Turtles, Albator, all were there!
This weekend took place a very pleasant convention that will leave us with very good memories! We hope to have the chance to relive all this next year!
