Paradis is the story of three young Londoners and their shared love for music. Exiled to Berlin to record their first album, it will be released on May 26.

Originally, Paradisia was composed of six women. Unfortunately, the band broke up before reforming as a trio. Drawing inspiration from the seventies, the Paradisia trio is composed of Sophie-Rose Harper on vocals, Kristy Buglass on vocals and keyboards and Anna Pesquidous on harp. Yes, you read that right. Their admiration for Joni Mitchell led them to this unusual instrument today.

Two first singles already very inspired

Since its inception, the band has officially released two singles. Like the cover of the single which is a pink silk sheet, Silent Lover is a soft and pleasant ballad. On the other hand, the main single Warpaint seems extremely personal by the beauty of the vocal/instrument mix. The repeating chorus "Cover me up in a warpaint" is all the more poignant.

"This song is about female solidarity and the resulting autonomy. It's about liberation, breaking down the glass walls and barriers of habits that imprison women." Paradisia

Therefore, inside the clip accompanying the track, we can see them dressed in beige in a forest gradually filled with pink smoke. Thanks to close-ups of their faces, the video transfers emotions just as well.
