Small success of the season on the American channel CW, Riverdale will return well for a second season. And it will be an opportunity to discover a character that we heard a lot about during the first season: Hiram Lodge, the father of Veronica (Camile Mendes).
The site TVLine reveals today that it is the actor Mark Consuelos who will lend his features. The actor has been starring in the series Kingdom since 2015. This season, he headlined Pitch, broadcast on FOX and you can also discover him this summer in the fourth season of the medical series The Night Shift on NBC.
The character of Hiram Lodge is presented as a ruthless, handsome, and charismatic businessman who returns to Riverdale after enduring a financial scandal that nearly destroyed him and landed him in jail. He is there to reconnect with his wife Hermione (Marisol Nichols) and, in particular, with his daughter Veronica, who is the apple of his eye.
Good news for the series that should still reveal many surprises! The first season of Riverdale continues to air every Thursday night on The CW.
