"La Vie Est Belle", the new single from Indochine is now available and to discover.
Unveiled live yesterday in the show "Quotidien" on TMC, this track precedes the 13th album of the group scheduled for September 8, more than 4 years after their last opus "Black City Parade".
Directed by Asia Argento, the clip will be available at the end of July…
To accompany the launch of this project, a new tour is already announced: " Le 13 Tour" !
While the opening of the ticket office is scheduled for Wednesday, June 21 at 10am, the details of the first dates are to be discovered on their official website.
A look back at the group's journey over the past 4 years :
February 2013: release of Indochine's 12th album "Black City Parade" (double platinum).
March 2013 / Summer 2014: the "Black City Tour". A grandiose tour of more than 60 sold-out dates that ends on June 26 & 27, 2014 with two huge concerts at the Stade de France, in front of more than 120,000 people.
September 2014: creation of the label Indochine Records with the reissue of all the albums of the group on vinyl.
December 2014: release of the Black City tour on DVD after a month of editing (platinum DVD).
April / May 2015: Indochine embarks on a club tour in Europe, from Barcelona to Oslo via Berlin and Milan…
September 2015: the band meets again for a 1st session of composition of a future album.
October 2015: Indochine performs for the 1st time in New York during a concert organized by the streaming site TIDAL.
December 2015: release of the "Black City Concerts", the recording of the 2 concerts of the Stade de France on double DVD (platinum DVD).
December 2015 / December 2016: several months of composition sessions where more than 60 projects are born. Tracks are even recorded in the KMS studio in Paris discreetly, without witnesses. A drastic selection will be made. The songs take code names: KMS 1, KMS 2, KMS 3 and this up to KMS 32 …The band postponed the recording of the album until 2017.
Nicola isolates himself for a while to write the lyrics in Aubrac and goes to Los Angeles to meet Mick Guzauski (Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams, Jamiroquai, Talking Heads) who is approached to mix this 13th album.
July 2016 / August 2016 : Indochine surprises and decides to play in 7 headlining festivals in France, Belgium and Switzerland.
January 2017: 1st recording session at the ICP studio in Brussels. Nicola and Oli de Sat start directing jointly.
March 2017: Nicola records alone with a sound engineer two voice sessions still in Brussels. The pieces of the puzzle of this 13th album, the most mysterious and bewitching in Indochina, come together. Some prestigious guests participate in this new opus as co-author, performer or co-composer. Mixing will take place in Los Angeles at Mick Guzauski's personal studio.
April 2017: mastering of the album by Chab (Daft Punk, Air, Kavinsky, Woodkid…).
May 2017: one of the greatest contemporary photographers is contacted to make the cover of this new recording.
