Black Panther unveils a striking first trailer!

Introduced in Captain America – Civil War, Black Panther is back in a solo adventure whose first images have just been unveiled. 

Black Panther, aka T'Challa, is the king of Wakanda, a fictional country invented for the needs of the Marvel universe. Played by Chadwick Boseman, Black Panther is the king of this African country. In these lost lands is produced vibranium, an ultra-resistant metal of which are composed the armor of Black Panther but also the shield of Captain America. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in 1966. 

This first teaser reveals some beautiful images of Wakanda which seems to be a futuristic city where plots to take power seem legion. T'Challa will have to impose his rules if he wants to exercise his status as king near his family. In these first images; the characters of Martin Freeman (seen in Civil War) and that of Andy Serkis appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron, make their returns. The first is Everet Ross, a government agent who investigates superhero affairs, the second is Ulysses Klaw, an arms dealer who had his arm ripped off by Ultron and whose counterpart is a super villain who masters sound waves in the comics.

These first images give a glimpse of the rich visual universe developed by director Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station and Creed), but also its impressive cast where Michael B meets. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Martin Freeman, Andy Serkis, the revelation of Get Out Daniel Kaluuya or Danai Gurira who swapped the dreadlocks and katana of Michonne (Walking Dead) for a shaved head and an equally effective stick.

Following the events of Civil War, T'Challa returns home to take his place on the throne of Wakanda, a technologically advanced African nation. But when an old enemy resurfaces, T'Challa's courage is sorely tested, both as ruler and as Black Panther. He finds himself drawn into a conflict that threatens not only the fate of Wakanda, but that of the entire world… The film is scheduled for February 14.
