If the week was hot for all, it was a liberation to find the freshness of the Solidays 2017 festival. A program both powerful and sweet for this Friday. Justfocus tells you!

As soon as we arrive on the scene, we have an appointment with the entire group The Noface . What a pleasure to meet the former members of Skip The Use accompanied by their new singer, Oma Jali. An excellent moment that we tell you in interview soon on the site.

We head to the village of associations to listen to In The Can ; the 2 brothers Neil and Julian pose a friendly atmosphere, like at home. In acoustic, guitar / cajòn mode, we discover these musicians of the metro that we will meet the next day in interview. The audience seated around the kiosk is completely packed.

Hostilities begin on the stage of the Bagatelle where The NoFace distributes masks to the audience who enter the arena to form an army. Here, no concessions; Oma inhabits the stage with an insane presence and a disconcerting ease. The group has really managed to impose itself in front of an audience that is now acquired by it.

Our steps take us back to the César Circus stage to shake us to the riffs of The Dizzy Brains. These young people from Madagascar have opted for the card of seduction in order to attract the public. After a few titles, the singer drops the shirt to the delight of the female sex hanging on the barrier.

Further under the Dome, another atmosphere, Gaël Faye flows his light and poetic flow in the ears of attentive and smiling festival-goers who sway to the sandstone of his rhythms. Gaël will suddenly ignite all these beautiful people and the concert becomes totally festive: it sings, it dances, all in benevolence and good humor.

We then return to the village of associations to take the temperature of militancy and commitment. To our surprise, the place is well filled: from activities to lively conversations, the public has appropriated the space. And this will be the case all weekend!

Near the kiosk, a few music lovers enjoy the last rays of the sun in the company of Hugo Barriol, another musician from the metro, who rocks us tenderly. Despite some technical problems, he manages to captivate us with his folk music, his sweet ballad and his caressing voice. He has just released a first EP and it is humbly that he tells us about it. A discreet personality and a beautiful sensitivity to listen to !!

We will then join the sublime Rocky under the César Circus tent that she does not take long to transform into a frenzied dance floor. His smile and enthusiasm are infectious. She spreads some messages of peace and solidarity and easily rallies the public to her cause.

Rocky

No time to lose, Wax Tailor is back at Solidays and it's happening on the Paris stage! A real pleasure to see him again accompanied still not the delicious Charlotte Savary. We completely fall for his flutist who also shows virtuosity. As usual, this concert has some nice surprises in store for us, including a tribute to Prodigy, the rapper who died recently.

In front of a well-deserved meal, we discover the Eminem of Pittsburgh, Mac Miller : a powerful flow, lyrics that click, beats that take to the guts … Even at a distance we are seized and carried away by his incisive rap.

Back on the Paris scene where we are waiting impatiently and with a certain nostalgia for the Prodigy. Despite the years, the group has not lost its grain of madness and its powerful energy. Far from having calmed down, they send a wave of frenetic energy that seizes the audience who can not help but gesticulate, jump and shout. A great moment to let go!

It is on this delirious concert that ends our first day at Solidays. In view of the day that awaits us the next day, we preferred to save ourselves.

What we can say for the moment is that the festival has once again succeeded in bringing together young and old and that this musical heterogeneity seems to satisfy everyone… We are the first!
