OCS, partner of the Deauville Film Festival , has decided to give pride of place to American cinema in September since the bouquet will set up a special program from September 3 to 10, 2017. This will be an opportunity for subscribers to discover the winners of the 42nd edition and some new feature films.
The festivities will begin on September 3 with an evening dedicated to Ira Sachs. The filmmaker won the 42nd edition. He was able to make a name for himself thanks to films of a certain sensitivity such as Love is Strange, carried by a duo of confirmed actors, Alfred Molina and John Lithgow. The rest of the week is just as enticing.
States of Grace continued hostilities at the same time on Monday, September 4. This is the film that revealed the excellent Brie Larson. This social drama was directed by Destin Cretton who based himself on his own experience as an educator since it is the work he did when he left school.
The most cinephiles among you will enjoy rediscovering the Dachshund (Tuesday, September 5 at 8:40 pm), the beasts of the wild south (which won the Sundance grand prize, broadcast on Wednesday, September 6 at 8:40 pm) or Willy 1er (broadcast on September 10 at 10:30 pm).
