Niantic, Inc.and The Pokémon Company International have announced that the trio of Legendary Pokémon Raikou, Entei and Suicune, will soon land in the world of Pokémon GO.
You will soon be able to discover, fight and catch these three Legendary Pokémon in Raids located around the world.
Raikou, Entei and Suicune will be available everywhere in the coming weeks, each spending only one month in a specific region. Therefore, from August 31 to September 30:
- Raikou, an Electrik-type Legendary Pokémon, can be fought on the American continent.
- Entei, a Fire-type Legendary Pokémon, can be fought in Europe and Africa.
- Suicune, a Water-type Pokémon, can be defeated in Asia Pacific.
These three Pokémon will change locations on September 30 and mark the end in their last region on October 31. As with the legendary Pokémon that have already appeared, these are available for a limited time.
In addition to this, localized testing of EX Raids is soon available in specific regions for testing, in order to perfect this new system. EX Raids, similar to existing Raids, appear periodically. Trainers who have won a Raid at the Arena where the EX Raid takes place receive an invitation to fight a powerful Raid Boss, receiving an EX Raid Pass.
