Currently in preparation under the aegis of David Gordon Green, the new installment of the "Halloween" franchise will mark the return of Jamie Lee Curtis in the role of Laurie Strode.

Eight years after the last installment directed by Rob Zombie, Halloween will be back under the direction of David Gordon Green (Delirium Express, Joe). The feature film would not be a remake but would be a continuation of the first two films released respectively in 1978 and 1982. The filmmaker seeks to skip all the other episodes released in the meantime for a real return to the roots. And what could be better than remembering Jamie Lee Curtis

Halloween: the return of a great figure of horror cinema

Revealed in the cinema in 1978 in the classic of John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis then slipped into the skin of Laurie Strode 3 times in Halloween II (1981), Halloween, 20 years after (1998) and Halloween: Resurrection (2002). This new opus, still untitled, will be released 40 years after John Carpenter's cult film. The latter is producer of the film alongside Jason Blum, to whom we owe the successes of Insidious, Split or Get Out.

With ten films released in cinemas, the Halloween saga is already very substantial. But John Carpenter seems eager to reclaim his story. Case to follow very closely!
