Whether for a weekend or just for the day, Disneyland Paris is the ideal destination when you want to dive back into childhood or simply soak up the magic of the place. But fully enjoying a Disney Trip requires a little organization! Here are some tips to optimize your time at Mickey!

Spot the right deals

A stay at Disneyland Paris has a reputation for being relatively expensive. Depending on the chosen place of residence (if you decide to spend the night on site) and the time of year, rates vary from single to double. On site, it takes 71 euros for a ticket 1 day / 1 park and 86 euros for 1 day / 2 parks. The rate is fixed, regardless of the time of year (excluding special evening). But on the Disney website, much more accessible tickets are offered and rates are decreasing according to the affluence. The same goes for hotels, where offers of up to 45% discount are regularly put online. But the ultimate deals are often offered by private sales sites. They are certainly sporadic, but offer the opportunity to enjoy a weekend at a lower cost.

Check park attendance

In folklore, Disneyland Paris often rhymes with endless queues. This legend is regularly confirmed in summer and at Christmas, when the wait in front of an attraction can exceed two hours. However, it is quite possible not to wait more than fifteen minutes on average. By choosing your dates carefully, you will be able to see that both parks are relatively quiet and the attractions quite accessible. For this, sites like Ooparc offer a dynamic calendar, presenting the days of low and high affluence. The data are of course statistical, but the reliability of the information is relatively high.

Prepare in advance

A simple day at Disney is very trying, do not make it more difficult by not having been enough foresighted! The ideal is to prepare a backpack containing at least a bottle of water, a small first aid kit, an external battery and a snack. Depending on the season, add warm clothing that will protect you from rain or sunscreen (in the middle of summer, it is not uncommon to come out crayfish red…). Also be sure to be comfortably dressed: your day will be busy and you will have to walk a lot. Do not forget your tickets, it would be such a shame to turn back because you cannot enter…

Optimize your time

You don't go to Disneyland every day, so the important thing is to optimize your time to make the most of the experience. Be organized! Take a plan and a program to know the exact time of the different parades but especially not to get lost. Download the various applications to monitor waiting times within the two parks of the complex (Disneyland Paris offers its own). Use and abuse FastPass, they guarantee you to pass smoothly and with a very limited time to wait. Similarly, by having lunch earlier or later than the majority of visitors, you can enjoy the most popular attractions.

Just enjoy!

Doing lots of attractions is great but we often forget something essential: Disneyland Paris is above all a theme park with a rich universe and sumptuous scenery. So take the time to stroll through the alleys, to enjoy the incredible setting that is the one offered by the park. Attend the various small shows, take pictures with the characters crossed, marvel at the shop windows… In short: make unforgettable memories. Everything is planned so that the visitor can keep busy at all times and in all seasons, so do not miss it.
