Amazon is decidedly active at the end of 2017. For this month of October 2017, several novelties arrive. We will remember in priority The Tick, tasty reboot taking place in the world of superheroes. Fans of the horror genre will mostly focus on Lore.
Two Amazon original series
Since October 13, two original series are available on Amazon Prime Video. The first part of The Tick dubbed in French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish is accessible. We follow Arthur Everest, an accountant with no superpowers who will become the sidekick of a super-powerful but devoid of intelligence hero, The Tick. An original story that contrasts with what can be seen in the series of the arrow-verse or produced by Netflix. Although the parodic side could make this original project a clone of a sentai, the careful realization of the project makes it possible to obtain a quality product that is also carried by a quality cast. The cast includes a few names like Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy, Parks and Recreation), Griffin Newman (Search Party), Jackie Earle Haley (Preacher).
Lore is a tribute to horror. It features Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day), a true figure in the famous science fiction franchise Terminator. This series is based on the true stories that gave birth to the legends of popular culture featuring different supernatural elements.
Available October 20: Red Oaks
Third season of Red Oaks where we find David during the summer of 1987. he works in a video production company and has some difficulties with the women of New York.
Available October 27: One Mississippi
Season 2 of an original program developed by Amazon.
Tig Notaro plays Tig, a DJ from Los Angeles who talks back to her picturesque Mississippi town following the death of her mother.
