From December 1st to January 31st, the city of Gaillac (81) lights up on the occasion of the first Lantern Festival, Fééries de Chine. Dragons, pandas, insects, hundreds of light sculptures take you on a journey through the Middle Kingdom.
Notice to lovers of Chinese fairies. If you are passing through the South-West of the France, a small night detour is required by the city Gaillac. Located in the Tarn (81), this town hosts for the first time the Lantern Festival, Fééries de Chine. From December 1st to January 31st and every evening from 6pm to 11pm, Foucaud Park is lit by a thousand lights. Ceramic dragons, insects, panda forest, roosters, flowers or a giant pagoda will make young and old travel thousands of kilometers. A magical festival that does not forget where it is since part of the illuminations are on the wine heritage of Gaillac.
Illuminations to contemplate every evening until January 31 from 6pm to 2am. Prices: from 13 to 18 €. Free for children under 10 years old. Reservations on the event website.
