A little more than a month after the release of their first clip, the quartet straight from Le Havre returns with a new clip… And an EP! JustFocus proposes to give you news of them so that you do not miss a crumb.

We warned you, Mezzanine is a band to follow, so we were not disappointed to learn the news of the release of a first EP. This nice little duet of songs (Above The Sun & Where Is She Gone) of just over 6 minutes entitled Singles, portends a sunny future.

Where Is She Gone, indie track with psyche influences

No big changes of sounds for this new song, we do listen to Mezzanine. Nevertheless, we are not unhappy to find the airy sound of the band as well as a perfect song to face the atrocity of January. Guitars and vocals posed whose rhythm almost seems to repeat itself… We discover and recognize the few psychedelic influences, enough to add to the joyful indie-pop mix.

To illustrate their second single, the band called on Jules Barbé from the Bordeaux creative studio Barbo Studio. And it gives 3 minutes and 41 seconds of juggling between cinematographic references of previous decades, and images of various and varied "chactors". A superposition of images with soft colors that recalls the aesthetics of the first clip of Above The Sun, almost like a signature: we adhere!

A nice surprise then, to which it would miss only a few small dates … For a lucky few, Mezzanine were present at Fake Live, an event that took place in Le Havre at the end of December. For the others it will be necessary to wait longer. One thing is certain, at JustFocus we will be there!
