Ubisoft has just unveiled Sam, its personal gaming assistant aimed at improving your experience.

This wizard uses your profile information, game collections, friend lists, and certain Ubisoft services and communities to provide you with personalized advice and information. Sam is available in Open Beta through the Ubisoft Club mobile app, but only in Canada and English. The Beta will expand to other markets in the coming months.

Therefore, when you want to know a release date, see a trailer, discover the Easter Eggs in a game or debate about your favorite games, Sam redirects you to the "right" page, either the official Ubisoft website or another relevant site. With Sam's Q&A (Questions and Answers) feature, you'll be able to ask any question using either voice command or text input.

Sam is linked to your Ubisoft account to analyze your latest games so that you receive personalized advice through the Daily Login menu – this feature is only available, for the moment, for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Sam analyzes the reasons for the difficulties you encounter during your games and proactively sends you videos from the community that could help you progress. Obviously, since this is only a beta version, other features will arrive in the coming months.

Stephanie Perotti, Vice President of Online Services at Ubisoft explains: " With Sam, our ambition is to create an innovative and useful service for players, a service that knows them and helps them enjoy their games better. Sam provides a more personalized experience for our fans and brings them what they need faster so they spend less time searching. Using Google Cloud's Dialogflow Enterprise platform has helped us work dynamically and iterate faster to provide better service to our fans.
