Each of Wes Anderson's creations stands out thanks to a particularly sharp eye for detail. The director has just unveiled a short clip of his next film, Isle of Dogs, an animated film designed in stop-motion that will be released in France on April 11.

This is not his first attempt in the world of animation since he had already released the incredible Fantastic Mr Fox. The film did not do well at the box office, but it was particularly well received by critics. It was nominated for an Oscar in the category of Best Animated Film and was especially rewarded at the Annecy animation festival.

It was therefore normal to rejoice when we learned that Wes Anderson was working again on a project of this type. And what a nice surprise to discover this excerpt from Isle of Dogs that plunges us directly into the atmosphere of the film. We find Rex and his atypical band on this particular island where all of Megasaki's dogs were sent to quarantine after an epidemic. The merry troop finds itself facing another formation of dogs and it is the beginning of an opposition that will remain in the annals.

While a certain Deadpool lamented in his trailer the lack of inspiration of the writers for the dialogues, it is not a criticism that he could make to the film of Wes Anderson as this extract sounds right. A few seconds of pure treat.

The exceptional cast of the film should finish convincing you. It includes Bryan Cranston, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Scarlett Johansson, Edward Norton, F. Murray Abraham, Tilda Swinton, Kunichi Nomura, Harvey Keitel, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama, Koyu Rankin, Yoko Ono, Courtney B. Vance, Greta Gerwig, Frances McDormand, Bob Balaban and Liev Schreiber.

In France, the film will be distributed by Fox.
