Alex Francis: a first part to follow very closely!

Facing a full Olympia, Alex Francis had the responsibility to entertain an audience that did not know him and he succeeded brilliantly. Indeed, each of his catchy pieces have charmed us. The British singer communicates wonderfully with his audience. He claimed that this is the second time he has come to play in Paris, the first being at the label's Pop-Up. At the end of his set, he even proposed that we come to see him at the merch to meet him. Alex Francis, in addition to being very friendly, is a more than talented singer that we advise you to follow very closely!

Stereophonics: an excellent concert!

Stereophonics began its concert with quite sweet pieces: Chances Are and Caught By The Wind, two titles interpreted to perfection and which allow us to discover a scenography that changes according to the titles thanks to a screen. The band will thank its audience before announcing the next track: C'est la vie! The audience finally wakes up with some who will even hop during the chorus more than catchy! The group will be very strongly applauded.

The concert continued with I want to Get Lost With You where we could observe an audience clapping in rhythm during the chorus. When it was the turn of Taken a Tumble, we were totally impressed by drummer Jamie Morrison who gave everything and we are very happy that he is put forward in height to observe it! Kelly Jones stated that the band is very happy to be back in Paris and started Superman, and he did not hesitate afterwards to approach his audience to perform his guitar solo and even encouraged his audience to shout and applaud! It was then during Roll Up and Shine that we discovered that some groupies were present in the room when we heard many highs "KELLLLLYYYYYYYY". At the end, the singer thanked the audience before asking how he was doing and adding that it's been 20 years since Stereophonics came to Paris. He claimed that they have 10 albums, recent songs and others they have been playing for twenty years like 100MPH

The concert continued with a hit that even novices knew : Maybe Tomorrow ! And it was from that moment that we could finally hear an Olympia singing in chorus and it's a pleasure ! The audience applauded, and it was then that Kelly continued the song alone acoustically adding, "Paris I want to hear you sing! It's Friday night go again! ». The fans then began to sing all together which will let slip a "Magnificent" from the singer before being praised by his audience.During All in One Night, the audience sang in chorus the "oh oh", and applauded very loudly once again the singer's guitar solo. Before starting Drowning, the groupies were still noticed with their shrill "Kelllllllyyyyy", a concert that allowed them to find their 15 years for an evening surely.

Then came the turn of Geronimo where we found a more sustained rhythm that allowed some to dance ! Then Stereophonics performed What's All the Fuss About? where the group was once again praised. The piano then made its arrival on stage for White Lies and Sunny, moreover during this piece Kelly quickly recovers his guitar. It is then that the first notes of Just Looking resonate in the room and they have a very quick impact on the audience who go wild and sing full during the chorus "I am just rocking!». The band was strongly applauded and booed probably related to the fact that the audience was totally won over by their performance tonight.

Stereophonics followed up with another hit: Graffiti on the Train !Kelly then gave way to his acoustic guitar for Indian Summer, another song praised by the public. The concert continued with Mr Writer, A thousand Trees where the singer with a simple wave of his hand encouraged his audience to applaud in chorus even in the stands !The band followed with Local Boy in the Photograph where this time it was bassist Richard Jones who encouraged an audience to applaud and who did not get repeated twice! The band was once again thanked by an audience that applauded incessantly!During The Bathender and the Thief some finally decided to jump, it's a shame to see an audience that wakes up only now since it's almost the end of the concert. Moreover, it was at the end of this title that the group left the stage greeting the crowd!

But tonight the people present at the Olympia did not want the concert to stop here and launched into an encore that was heard by many applause. Stereophonics then returned to the stage and took the opportunity to thank Paris but also Alex Francis their first part, then they interpreted Mr and Mrs Smith. It was during this title that the drummer offered us a solo that was greeted by an amazed audience. Before starting their last track, the band informed that they would be playing at Lollapalooza this summer and thanked us once again for coming to see them. It was then the turn of their emblematic Dakota who during the chorus, like a karaoke, the lyrics scrolled on a screen behind them and it is with pleasure that the audience chanted them all in chorus.
