2018 is already marked by an advance in gender equality, the world's desire to progress and forget sexism. And to illustrate this, what could be better than an example of a girlboss? They are beautiful, young, embody the modern woman, and have launched their own clothing brand "Naughty Doll".

Focus on Manon, Mélody Tycia and Charlyne, these creative and versatile young women, who did not hesitate to embark on self-entrepreneurship.

How and when did you come up with the idea of creating your brand?

Manon had been thinking for a little while to start creating a clothing brand, she told Laetitia who was also up for it and motivated.

In June, Manon told me about it during an evening and I was very enthusiastic about such a project. So the three of us got together with Tycia to concretely set up the brand. We really wanted to invest in something that we all liked: fashion, with this little bonus of sharing this adventure with friends. Naughty Doll was launched!

 

Why "Naughty Doll? »

It literally means "Naughty girl/nana/doll", we needed a name that reflects our state of mind, both women of character who keep a little wise side, the naughty doll is a femme fatale, seductive, who assumes and dares. Which refers very well to the quite girly American films where there is always a tender-hearted plague in the group, nothing in the trash, everything in the suggestion. We have a whole naughty girl in us. However, it is important to nuance our identity: the woman we represent in our visuals is fatal but never vulgar.

How would you describe your brand? Who is it for?

Naughty Doll is a modern brand with its very minimalist and refined visuals, it emphasizes a vision of the femme fatale and sure of herself. It is mainly aimed at girls (for now?) of all ages, even if our target remains 18-25 years old. In addition, it is aimed at girls doing XS to 3XL, it was important for us not to exclude anyone.

We have the idea of creating more mixed pieces to reach a male target why not! #Naughtyboy

 

Who decided the visual of the articles?

The three of us. At first we thought together about what we would like as visuals, each proposed her ideas to the others so that they were validated. Then we sent them to our graphic designer and friend Charlyne who was responsible for drawing all the visuals of our brand. We are delighted with this work, it's a real gem. Finally, we ask our community a lot to know their expectations in terms of textiles for example.

An anecdote to tell?

You should know that we shot our teaser one evening in January, we were simply dressed with our T-shirts and a small jacket on top, between rain and wind -we let you guess the temperature- in any case the doctor feasted him! Suffice to say that it took us great mental strength to imagine ourselves under the suns of the tropics for more than three hours!

Yes! We will regularly release new models. We are very attentive to the feedback and suggestions that are made to us, it is very important.

It's within everyone's reach. It is enough simply to be motivated and to want to realize your projects, you have to force and not be afraid that it does not work, who does not try anything has nothing!

You have to believe in yourself, that's the key, never give up even in moments of doubt. Being determined, finding good partners and a concept in line with your personality is essential to flourish in your activity.
