After Logan Lucky, Steven Soderbergh is back with a thriller under high tension, where paranoia seems to be the key word: Unsane.
Synopsis: Convinced of being harassed, Sawyer Valentini finds herself locked up against her will in a mental asylum. At first desperate to prove that she is sane, she comes to wonder if her fear is really founded or if she is just a paranoid young woman.
At the end of January, we already told you about Unsane, about which we now have more information. With this film, it seems that we are dealing with a thriller masterfully conducted, in the tradition of Shutter Island. Claire Foy (The Crown) looks simply fabulous and the staging already looks great. It should be noted that Soderbergh shot his entire film on the iPhone, thus accentuating the proximity we have with the characters. The experience would have been so rewarding for the director, that he would like to do it again. Our Frenchie Michel Gondry had already tried the experience with Détour. Is this the beginning of a new trend in Hollywood? This will probably be conditioned by the success of this film.
Usane arrives in French cinemas on July 11. We can't wait! To wait, enjoy the trailer without moderation.
