While waiting for the 11th episode of the adventures of Capcom's cult robot, players will be able to find all the parts of the Mega Man X saga in two compilations, Mega Man X Legacy Collection and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2, with visual improvements.
It will be on July 24 that Mega Man X Legacy Collection and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
These two compilations will respectively offer episodes 1 to 4 for the first and 5 to 8 for the second. This will be an opportunity for the old ones to reconnect with nostalgia while new players will be able to try and discover this famous action platform game. An Easy mode will be activated to offer new players not to suffer too much game over.
Mega Man X is set more than a century after the canon episodes, and sets a darker and more mature atmosphere. Indeed, the hero goes through a post-apocalyptic society where robots have rebelled against their creators. In some episodes, the player will be able to take control of Zero and Axl.
Mega Man is always equipped with his legendary cannon and can steal attacks from enemy bosses. In this spin-off, he can jump on walls and equip himself with powerful armor.
Both collections offer the opportunity to try the "X Challenge Mode". A new option that gives the opportunity to choose your equipment and face both two bosses from the Mega Man X saga. Three difficulty levels are available and an online ranking.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 will be available separately in digital versions on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on July 24, 2018.
