Where does "Balélec" come from? The Balélec festival is a university festival, which was created in 1981! Balélec is thus called in inheritance of its first name, "Le bal des électriciens".
A sustainable festival!
The Balelec festival follows social, economic and environmental standards. We asked Grégoire Brunat, Balélec's press officer, how this commitment manifests itself during, but also before the festival.
"The sustainability of the festival is manifested by the free metro from midnight to 4 am, the use of 100% renewable dishes, prevention stands, supervised financial management… "
