The 83rd edition of the Fête de l'Humanité will take place from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 September 2018. The poster promises to be very attractive, for an incredible price: 38 euros the 3-day pass.
The Fête de l'Humanité brings together hundreds of thousands of people every year, in September at the Georges Valbon Departmental Park in La Courneuve. Meetings, exhibitions, debates, literature and music punctuate the event. On the music side, we meet an eclectic selection of international artists on several stages. Last year, Justfocus covered the event and intends to be there for this new edition.
As every year, it is the diversity of style that will be highlighted, with about fifty concerts organized on several stages: the Big Stage, the Zebrock Stage, the Small Stage or the Jazz space. The musical program of the next Fête de l'Huma is not yet fully public, but we can already announce:
The Supreme NTM. The duo formed by JoeyStarr and Kool Shen had reconstituted themselves during several concerts at the AccorHotels Arena last March, after 10 years of separation, but the price had cooled more than one. For their first (and last) appearance on the main stage of the Fête de l'Humanité, moreover in the department where NTM was born, it will be at a popular price.
It was also announced that the Scots of the Franz Ferdinand group would be announced. Since 2017, composed of 5 members, the group is festive, appreciates the French music scene and is inspired by it. It was at the Point Ephémère in Paris, last year, that he celebrated the release of his latest album, Always Ascending, released last February, before embarking on a world tour, composed of the Fête de l'Huma.
Will also be present Bernard Lavilliers, who is not at his first Fête de l'Huma, and for good reason. His first texts are inspired by communist poets, and a protest dimension. Incorporating Caribbean, reggae and African influences into his music, his compositions deal with marginality, injustice and struggle.
We will also find the one who was the singer of Rita Mitsouko (with Fred Chichin), Catherine Ringer. She will take the stage just one month after the end in August of her 25-date tour that began since the release of her latest album in November 2017, Chroniques et fantaisies.
Belgian rapper star Romeo Elvis is also expected. Between a Bataclan and an Olympia, it will be an opportunity to discover the 25-year-old outdoors.
We are waiting to know the rest of the program!
