On May 3rd, I Me Mine presented the video for their single Expectations, from their latest album Ellipsis.
Three years after their self-titled debut album, I Me Mine is back with a second album called Ellipsis. And if until now the Toulouse trio (discovered by the Trans Musicales) was very promising; From now on, it is unanimous!
Available since the end of March, this album is once again inspired by songs from the sixties to bring them up to date. We also find the electro and rock notes that make the charm of the group.
It is from these ten tracks that is extracted the first single, Expectations, in collaboration with Hervé Salters, member of the General Elektriks.
The clip of Expectations
Two worlds for a catchy piece. This association is successful!Impossible not to nod head in cadence on the notes of the drums or the whistles that we hear at times.
An intoxicating energy that we find in the video of the single.
Directed by Stéphanie Artaud and iMagista Films, this clip features a young boy trying to escape by all means (even the most original) from three other children who chase him on a bike.
At the pace of this frantic race, we find the notes both retro and modern of the title Expectations.
