ZER0Orpheus

Super surprise this week with the discovery of Zero. A sound between Jazz and rap that unites a talented pianist (whose voice reminds us of Damon Albarn) and an MC who is no lessIt is under the label of Agorai, Sapiens, that this project is being born. Two universes completely distant but which combine perfectly. The 2 artists met 3 years ago in Paris and their first title evolves their music around the theme of Orpheus. Very beautiful starting point and source of reflection for a rich and elaborate music. To follow!

Seb Damiani-Faf Larage Feat. Shurik'n x Sat x Cecilia Arbel x Lacraps x Half Portion x Swatt'sOperap

Curiosity that lingers on the web and on which we had to look … Out of curiosity. Sébastien Damiani, composer and pianist gathers around him many names of French rap: Faf Larage, Shurik'n Lacraps, Sat l'Artificier, Youssef Swatt's, Demi-Portion. An ambitious project as much as surprising that will perhaps have the merit of encouraging the rap public to be interested in another complex musical style and that seems inaccessible to them. The idea is really to break down preconceived ideas and boundaries between musical genres to get them to mix. Note the impressive vocal performance of Cecilia Arbel !

Florence + The MachineBig God

A superb clip for the title Big God, new extract from the next album of Florence + The Machine. A sublime choreography in a dark setting. The dancers move barefoot on a surface of water around the singer. In a kind of trance, sometimes levitating, it looks like a pagan ritual. It's nagging, scary and as assured as it is powerful, that's the feeling we can have in front of this colorful performance. Go we wait a few more days, High as Hope comes out on June 29th.

INÜITWe The People

The Inuït are back with a unifying and powerful title produced by Benjamin Lebeau of The Shoes whose paw we recognize with pleasure. A colorful and burlesque clip that tells us about revolt on the beach; It makes us want to raise our fists and change the world! The band announces at the same time a next album for October 12 and we can't wait, especially if the titles are as good as this first single… It promises. In the meantime, they will be on a few festivals this summer including Beauregard and Les Vieilles Charrues and will be at the Maroquinerie on October 15 for a Release Party.

Bosco RogersNina

I have a weakness for retro tracks that sound 60/70, between psyche rock and English pop. And here I can tell you that Bosco Rogers, a French-English duo, hit the nail on the head. A title that smells of hippie flower and everything that goes with it. What you need of electric guitar, a drums that tinkle in the background. First single of a future EP to come which will be called All Wet, we recommend you while waiting to listen to their first album that we just discovered late and that we like a lot: Post Exotic.

Deaf HavanaSinner

They will be on August 24 on the Rock en Seine festival and it will be an opportunity to discover live this group with powerful songs and catchy melodies. We hope that Sinner, this little extract from their next album, Rituals, which we expect for August 10, will make you want to discover them on stage. This unifying title is a concentrate of enthusiasm! Enjoy!

HALASorry

Ian Ruhala, known by the stage name HALA, has a style inspired by Mac DeMarco and Ty Segall, with whom he shares a sense of "homemade" recording. Passed by several groups that decline, he decided in 2014 to go solo and realize his songs from A to Z. HALA was born in this period, during which he learned to handle digital instruments and applications. He offers with Sorry, recorded in minimal conditions, a jumpy and inspiring piece.

Cheat Codes, Little MixOnly You

When a group of DJs and a girl band meet… In the best case we get Only You ! For their part, the girls of Little Mix celebrate their return, since the release of their fourth album Glory Days released in 2016, while the three DJs of Cheat Codes bounce back after the recent release of their first EP Level 1Two very distinct projects but a summer cocktail that works : nothing very innovative but a catchy chorus and an honest song. Enough to whet the appetite of fans of the British girlsband and perhaps seduce French radios…

MezzanineThe Way She Loves Me

We have told you about it many times already, Mezzanine is the Le Havre "beach rock" band that is talking about him at the moment. Sharp classification you will tell us, yet Mezzanine is set to conquer the entire France. New single, new video, The Way She Loves Me seems to surf on the same humorous-vintage wave that we are starting to recognize from their old videos. So while we attend a series of offbeat seaside scenes, we discover the familiar riffs and choruses that we love so much. Mezzanine will release its new EP next September.
