Coco Mupala, Colette of her real name, grew up in a family of artists, in the world of gospel. Very quickly, her family became aware of her talent and pushed her to develop it.
At 15, she won her 1st competition La Nouvelle Voix unanimously. Graduated with a master's degree in business management, Coco Mupala decided to devote herself to her passion. As part of her training, she will travel to Australia and the United States, which will allow her to record her 1st title in English Masquerade composed by beatmaker Toney.
Thanks to several covers in French and English, Coco Mupala attracted the attention of TRACE TV France and BBC Three in England. In early 2015, Coco Mupala participated in the London singing competition Luton Mela Show at the initiative of her family and went to the final. The director of the Nash Media production company in Luton, Nick Asgill, noticed her and decided to have her record her title Voyage.
In August 2017, Coco Mupala wanted to give more scope to her career, so she surrounded herself with a new team by joining the label BACKUP MUSIC.
