If manga sometimes give the impression of being made to be adapted into films or video games, we often have unpleasant surprises. But what are these manga-inspired video games that really marked us?

Nowadays, it is really rare to find a manga that has not had the right to its adaptation into a video game. When we think of these adaptations, we necessarily think of the Naruto and Dragon Ball games but they are not the only good adaptations. So we've put together a list of the 6 best manga-inspired video games.

Dragon ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3

Dragon Ball Z is probably the manga that has been the most adapted into a video game. However, the percentage of successful games is very low. Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is part of this percentage. Indeed, with an impressive list of characters and special moves faithful to the series, this is the best adaptation. Admittedly, the graphics are not beautiful but for a PS2 game released in 2007 it was huge!

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate ninja storm 3 full burst

We could mention the 4 which is also excellent but the 3 is clearly one of the best in the Naruto franchise. The game has more than 90 characters who all have their own techniques, the game is also graphically irreproachable and very dynamic. Here, we meet during the first part of the Great Shinobi War, a defining moment for fans of the manga.

J-Stars Victory Vs

It's a bit like the smash bros of the list, indeed, all the stars of your favorite animes are found in this game. Find Naruto, Sangoku, Luffy, but also Gon from Hunter X Hunter or Seiya from the Knights of the Zodiac (or Saint Seiya) for epic and spectacular battles! A variety of characters that should delight all fans.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle

Admittedly, this manga is less known than One Piece, Naruto or Dragon Ball Z but it is nevertheless a monument of Japanese manga. Its in-game adaptation fully respects the original work, with its story mode covering all eight parts of the manga, its realization with small onions and its gameplay deeper than it seems. A game that will satisfy fans of this franchise!

Attack of the Titans: Wings of Freedom

We couldn't make you a list of manga-inspired video games without telling you about this one. Shingeki no Kyojin is one of the most popular manga of the moment and of course, it had the right to its adaptation.Although the game becomes redundant after a few hours of play, it still has undeniable qualities. Indeed, its nervous fights and fluid movements specific to the saga make it a game much more than pleasant.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3

The video game license of One Piece has not really spoiled the fans, most of the games on the famous manga of Eiichiro Oda are not terrible and bland.Fortunately, the One Piece: Pirate Warriors games, made by Omega Force studios (already behind the Dynasty Warriors), are more than nice and deserve special attention. This third installment offers an even bigger cast than the previous ones, and still offers to be able to play with friends, locally or online, to smash endless hordes of enemies. This year, we are also looking forward to discovering the new game One Piece in open world!

We have been disappointed many times by these failed manga adaptations but here we offer you the ones that convinced us. Here is our list of the 6 best manga-inspired video games, for the biggest fans, all these games are available in France so don't wait any longer!
