Come and discover or rediscover the emotion of Saint-Exupéry's masterpiece at the Théâtre Arto every day at 5:25 pm. The version of this Little Prince by the Stolen Bicycle emphasizes poetry with a strong emotion.
A chiseled staging for an emotion on the edge of the skin
Not easy to stage this masterpiece of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry which is no longer to be discovered, except when François Ha Van offers us an inventive staging of this Little Prince. The first propeller turns of the plane then embark the spectator on a journey that will take him to different planets, to meet endearing characters, each carrying his values.
The talent of the actors, combined with their sensitivity, gives a sustained rhythm without ever going beyond what is necessary to let the emotion settle and grow until the denouement.
In really ingenious and modular decors evolves an aviator, embodied by Mathieu Madelaine, both good-natured and concerned as adults are too often. He is accompanied by a Little Prince played by Hoël Le Corre, all in delicacy and tenderness, who captivates us with the subtlety of his bewitching playing.
In addition, the costumes have the measured insolence of creativity and originality, while respecting with measure the representation that one has of those of the characters of the tale.
Guitar notes that lead us to the stars
Guillaume Aufaure's music, which Nathan Dugray interprets with elegance, harmoniously underlines the evolution of the two actors. And everything is there : the heat of the desert, the solitude, the friendship, the vanity (embodied by a precious rose with a British accent!). We also find the fragility of human relationships, the tenderness of love, regret, departure…
So we plunge into this world of naivety that we would like so much to be able to find. The childhood and misunderstanding of these grown-ups are transmitted with tact and sensitivity.
