The fight of American feminists will be heavily led in a series that we did not expect.

The Woman's Hour promises to be a series that will mark the spirits since it will bring together the former candidate in the US presidential elections Hillary Clinton and the famous filmmaker Steven Spielberg. Together, they will produce an adaptation of the book of the same name by Elaine Weiss, retracing the history of women's right to vote. Indeed, as indicated by the subtitle of the book, The Great Fight To Win The Vote, the series will show the long struggle led by American women at the beginning of the twentieth century to obtain, in 1920, the ratification of the 19th amendment offering them the right to vote on an equal footing with men.

Very little information has been revealed about The Woman's Hour at the moment, as the project is still very fresh. The former Secretary of State of the United States still made an official statement on her Twitter account to affirm her joy to co-produce such a project.

"I'm thrilled to partner with Steven Spielberg to bring Elaine Weiss' book, The Woman's Hour, to the small screen. It's about the women who fought for the right to vote almost a hundred years ago. We are following in their footsteps and I am very happy to be able to help tell their story."
