Gleipnir – A dark scenario
Shûichi Kagaya is a high school student who can turn into a monster without knowing the reason. He saves the life of Claire who will discover his secret. She will also find that she can sneak into Shûichi's body. The two high school students will become one in the body of this monster. Not knowing the reasons for this situation, they will have to investigate to find out if others are in the same situation. How long will this situation last? What fate awaits them?
Two intriguing main characters
From the beginning of the story, we are immersed in a strong plot that keeps us in suspense thanks to its charismatic characters and well-conducted twists. Many questions arise… The atmosphere that emerges from the animation is quite dark thanks to an adapted graphic charter. The music is more oriented horror movies. The chosen music makes us feel it by respecting the codes of this particular register. The main character, Shûichi, is very anxious but he also has a soft side. As soon as he meets Claire, everything changes for him. He becomes stronger, while keeping a kind side, which he will transmit to her. From the moment they are one, we feel that they are the same person, that they share the same feelings. Can we talk about perfect symbiosis? This concept will probably be analyzed later. When you watch animation, it's hard to define what you can feel. It's a different feeling than what we see with other anime where we are happy, moved, happy, sad… Feelings that leave us perplexed, but in a positive aspect. It's just an unusual story and the characters have a strange relationship and we want to know more about their emotions. 
Remarkable writing and drawing
Sun Takeda's work is to be commended. He manages to convey to us the rather supernatural and psychological atmosphere of the anime. The emotions that the characters go through are realistic and the plot is just remarkably well written because we have, despite the new atmosphere of the anime, the desire every week to discover the sequel.
